Eight Days of Hope in Tupelo sending volunteers to Midwest | News [Video]

TUPELO, Miss. (WTVA) – Eight Days of Hope in Tupelo is sending volunteers to the Midwest after the devastating tornado outbreak.

In Sulphur, Oklahoma, one person was killed and around 30 were injured.

Eight Days of Hope is deploying its Mass Feeding Ministry there to provide hot meals to impacted families, first responders, and other volunteer groups in the area.

They will also be deploying their Rapid Response HEAVY team to Omaha, Nebraska.

They will be bringing lifts, bobcats, and other heavy equipment to help clear homes, remove debris, and take down trees.

Both outreaches begin Monday and the teams will stay in their areas until needed.
