Washington Today (6-11-24): Jury convicts Hunter Biden on all three federal gun charges

A jury in Wilmington, Delaware finds Hunter Biden, son of President Joe Biden, guilty on all three federal charges related to laws designed to keep drug addicts from owning firearms.
President Biden’s statement includes: “I will accept the outcome of this case and will continue to respect the judicial process as Hunter considers an appeal.”

House Republicans take another step towards holding Attorney General Merrick Garland in contempt of Congress for not handing over the audio of President Biden’s interview with the special counsel in his classified documents case, bringing the resolution before the Rules Committee, which will set the rules for debate and votes this week on the House floor.
