UNLOCKED- Forgiveness and reconciliation with Rwanda genocide survivor.

In 1994, African Leadership and Reconciliation Ministries (ALARM) was founded as a response to the Rwandan genocide and the civil and political unrest within Burundi and the DR Congo. Rev. Dr. Celestin Musekura survived the Rwandan Genocide and was left with a burden and calling to train and equip servant leaders in Africa while promoting inner healing and reconciliation. Rev. Dr. Celestin recognized the critical need to empower leaders within communities to understand the value of servant leadership, biblical peacebuilding, healing, forgiveness, reconciliation, and restorative justice.

In this episode, we discuss his personal journey of peace and reconciliation with those who harmed his community and family, we discuss his work to promote interfaith and inter-tribal dialogue, and most importantly his use of faith-based principles to develop sound leaders across Africa.

Mark 12:31
”……The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself. There is no commandment greater than these.”
