Third food truck festival of the season happened Thursday in Frankenmuth | Local [Video]

FRANKENMUTH, Mich. (WJRT) – The Frankenmuth Funtown Chowdown Food Truck Festival returned on Thursday in Frankenmuth.

The festival is held at the Frankenmuth River Place Shops on Main Street on the second Thursday of each month through September.

Admission and parking are free.

Each day of the festival involves a unique theme. On Thursday, the theme was Christmas in July.

There are more than a dozen food trucks, music entertainment and a beer tent. The event is also pet-friendly.

The next FunTown Chowdown Food Truck Festival date is Aug. 8. The theme for that day is a Bavarian Blast theme. More information on the event can be found here.
