Food security is critical for economic stability and social cohesion. And ensuring every person in every country can access safe, nutritious and affordable food is a key Sustainable Development Goal. But conflict, value chain disruptions and mounting inflation are creating new threats to global food security, especially in developing countries. In this session, we will examine some of these challenges and explore how international cooperation aimed at promoting food trade, boosting agricultural productivity and strengthening food safety can be part of the solution.
