Scrum-believable Faith – The Diocese of St Albans [Video]

St Mary’s Church of England Academy, Stotfold, recently invited Chris Andrew from Project Touchline to come in and lead their six week programme transforming Christian values education through sport and Collective Worship.

Project Touchline was created by Chris Andrew, an Archbishops’ Evangelist, in 2015 after a successful career at Bath Rugby and is now working with dioceses across the country to deliver the Project Touchline programme to Church of England schools bringing together rugby, faith and Christian values.

The programme is well established and is proven to have a huge impact on the way children and staff engage and live out their distinctive Christian values across school so was a natural choice for St Mary’s Academy.

Chris leads collective worship each week alongside running sports sessions throughout the day which have been well received by staff and children alike. An exciting development has been the launch of a lunchtime prayer club that meets weekly for 15 minutes.
