RAPID CITY, S.D. (KOTA) – Christian rock tunes will be echoing through Memorial Park soon. Musicians are set to take center stage for the Hills Alive Christian music festival next month, however, expect to see some new additions at this year’s event.
CEO of Life Light Corey Brewer says for the first time, Life Light and Hills Alive are partnering up to organize the event.
Attendees will be welcomed with new additions including a bicycle motocross area in Main Street Square featuring professional and semi-professional BMX athletes and local skateboarders.
Brewer added music artist Dale Vaughn will perform at Main Street Square as well.
He says there was a time when the festival was going to get canceled for good, however, that changed after a talk with the Hills Alive team last September.
