Popular actor launches Springsteen tribute band and theyre actually pretty good! [Video]

An actor who voiced some fan-favorite characters from “The Simpsons” will next emulate New Jersey’s most beloved voice.

Comedian and actor Hank Azaria is leading a Springsteen-inspired music group in its first live concert this summer in New York City.

Hank Azaria & The EZ Street Band will play on Aug. 1 at Le Poisson Rouge in Manhattan’s West Village. Proceeds from the show will go to the Four Through Nine Foundation, which supports social justice, education and recovery causes.

But this won’t be a one-night only show. According to the band’s Instagram page, the band will play additional tour dates — though they have yet to be announced.

The group previously performed at City Winery in New York, in front of the actual E Street Band’s drummer, Mighty Max Weinberg. But the show at Le Poisson Rouge will be their first ticketed event.
