Phone of Chicago woman missing in the Bahamas found [Video]

(WBBM NEWSRADIO) — There’s a new development in the case of a Chicago woman missing in the Bahamas.

Taylor Casey was reportedly last seen on June 19 at a yoga retreat near Paradise Island. There is still no sign of the missing 41-year-old, but police in the Bahamas say with the help of her family, they were able to locate and recover her cellphone.

So far, they are not publicly saying what if any information investigators have been able to retrieve from the phone.

Before heading to the Bahamas to help with the search for her daughter, Casey’s mother, Colette Seymore told WBBM, they had pinged Casey’s phone and saw its location was in the Atlantic Ocean.

Seymour said she was made aware that her daughter was missing when someone from the retreat called her to ask if she had heard from her daughter.
