New Haven city employee reprimanded after viral argument [Video]

Thabisa Rich, who serves as a community engagement coordinator for the City Department of Arts, Culture, and Tourism, was seen on video walking up and down Knollwood Dr. with a megaphone during a protest calling for a ceasefire on Feb. 11.

Rabbi Elchanan Poupko, who lives on that street and has a sign on his front lawn supporting Israel, said Rich and other protestors approached his house. In the video, Poupko can be seen confronting Rich and another man she’s with.

“She stood in front of my house with a megaphone and started screaming. What’s that, if not Nazi behavior,” Poupko said in the video at one point.
