Medina Library expands Tools and Tech program [Video]

MEDINA, Ohio – Back in 2019 the Medina District Library debuted their Tools and Tech collection which allowed patrons to borrow a multitude of items and just recently they have added even more items to the collection.

“We had binoculars, a ukelele, a blood pressure monitor, a car code reader, a radon detector and many more items when we debuted the collection,” said Tina Sabol, community engagement manager for MCDL. “Then during COVID when everyone was forced to work from home, we debuted items that are related to homework in school like the Chromebook, the microphone, the white board and that whole section.”

Due to request from patrons, the MCDL has added new items to the collection including color blind glasses, an inflatable projection screen, a pickleball set, a SAD lamp and traffic cones that can be used to set up a maneuverability course.
