Important questions on opioid crisis left unanswered in presidential debate [Video]

TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) – Last night’s debate sparked conversations on President Joe Biden and Former President Donald Trump’s performance, but it also raised concerns over unanswered questions on important issues.

Trump danced around the question if he would accept the results of the election, and another question about the rising cost of childcare was left unanswered as well.

But another that many in Arizona consider a pressing issue was left lackluster as well – the opioid crisis.

Jake Tapper, one of the two moderators for the debate, asked, “What are you going to do to help Americans in the throes of addiction right now who are struggling to get the treatment they need?”

Trump was able to answer the question first, only he used his time to respond to a statement made by Biden.
