If you’re in the mood for some religious horror, good news: Sydney Sweeney’s new horror movie Immaculate is coming to digital platforms this week, just three weeks after the movie opened in theaters.
Directed by Michael Mohan, who also directed Sweeney in the 2021 erotic thriller The Voyeurs, Immaculate follows a young nun named Cecilia (Sweeney) who is invited to join a convent in Italy that cares for ailing nuns in their dying days. While there, Cecilia is shocked to learn she is pregnant, despite the fact that she’s never had sex. Huh! Kinda makes you think of another famous virgin who was graced with immaculate conception.
