Hundreds gather Thursday night at David Street Station for Bobby Maher Jr. Candlelight Vigil [Video]

CASPER, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) – On Thursday night, hundreds gathered in David Street Station for Bobby Maher Jr.’s candlelight vigil. The 14-year old Casper resident, was murdered this past Sunday at the Eastridge Mall.

David Street Station looked like an ocean, with everyone wearing blue in honor of Bobby, people started gathering as early as two hours ahead of the vigil, which started at 7:30. Music was played, moments of silence were had, happy times remembered, and many prayers were said for Bobby. From classmates, to teachers, to friends, and family, many were left speechless from this tragic and senseless murder. However one thing that can’t be said, and shown enough, is the undying support the Maher family will continue to receive within the Casper community.
