My GBaby was hit by a motor vechicle and has a large gash over his eye and suffers with a broken back right leg. To repair the leg requires major surgery. The way the brake is and his size; he will need both a medal rod and plate which is very, very expensive. Dr. Green referred us to an animal surgery hospital in Baton Rouge. The estimated cost for his surgery is $5000. Without the funds for the surgery, Symba’s leg will have to be amputated from his hip down, not to mention that the sharp broken bone could cause him to hemorrhage should that main artery be ruptured.

We are at a junction because we simply don’t have that kind of money and this place doesn’t take the animal care insurance funding that we do have. We don’t know how long he will have to stay there or any other additional expenses that maybe needed.
