Downtown Charleston shooting injures 3; police searching for suspects [Video]

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) – The Charleston Police Department is seeking the public’s help after a downtown shooting injured three people.

Police say they responded to the area of America and South Streets around 10:40 Saturday night following reports of a shooting.

Upon arrival, officers determined three people had been shot. One of the people was grazed and declined medical assistance. Two others suffered non-life-threatening injuries. One was taken to an area hospital by EMS and the other took themselves to the hospital.

Police say the suspects fled the scene and no arrests have been made.
