Chanticleer in Council Bluffs announces season lineup [Video]

“White Christmas,” a Broadway musical based on the beloved Bing Crosby film, and “Steel Magnolias,” the original play that inspired a 1989 movie starring Sally Field, are among the offerings in the coming season at the Chanticleer Community Theater in Council Bluffs.

The theater recently announced its 2024-25 lineup:

Sept. 12-22: “Beauty and the Beast Jr.,” a Broadway musical based on the Disney movie, condensed for kids.

Dec. 12-22: “White Christmas.”

Jan. 10-19, 2025: “Steel Magnolias.”

March 14-23, 2025: “She Kills Monsters,” a play about teens who experience weird things while playing “Dungeons and Dragons.”

May 8-18, 2025: “Curtains,” a musical mystery comedy.

Another ‘Star Wars’ concert

Han Solo and his cohorts are returning to the Holland Center this weekend for another Omaha Symphony Movies Series concert.
