LEWISBURG — A member of the senior class was honored at Bucknell University’s commencement Sunday.
President John Bravman announced the posthumous award of a bachelor of arts degree in political science to Christian Mark Samay, 22, of Mountain Lakes, New Jersey.
He made note of the student’s unexpected death on March 30 when recalling the challenges members of the Class of 2024 faced during their four years at Bucknell beginning with the COVID-19 pandemic.
