Barry Crimmins is a political satirist and social justice activist.  He has written for Dennis Miller and for the short-lived Air America radio network. Crimmins lived in Cleveland from the mid- to late-1990s, writing comedy and performing stand-up. He has opened for Steven Wright and Jackson Browne. Crimmins is the subject of a new documentary by Bobcat Goldthwait entitled “Call Me Lucky.” The film is about Crimmins’ traumatic early childhood and mid-1990s crusade against Internet child sex abuse.
