A&M Regents to vote on RELLIS manufacturing facility terms [Video]

Texas A&M’s Board of Regents will meet to discuss and possibly vote to give authorization on agreements and a ground lease for a manufacturing facility at the RELLIS campus in Bryan during a special meeting Wednesday.

This vote will clear A&M officials to begin negotiating the terms of a development agreement, ground lease and other related agreements for the manufacturing facility.

The special telephonic meeting will be held at 9 a.m. at the Memorial Student Center on A&M’s main campus. The regents’ agenda states the item will be discussed in executive and open session. Any action must be taken in open session.

A project worth a minimum of $10 billion could be coming to the RELLIS campus in Bryan, according to legal notices posted last month. The notices do not say who the project is with or what it might be.
