Rose Hill Memorial being built in Okolona | News [Video]

OKOLONA, Miss. (WTVA) — A Chickasaw County man is building a memorial in Okolona for the community to represent past, present and future generations.

The Rose Hill Memorial will also be a public place of prayer. The memorial is just in the starting phases of construction.

There will be a cornerstone-laying event on Saturday, April 27 at 10:45 a.m. It’s at 107 Prairie Street in Okolona.

This build will take close to two years to complete and cost around $7 million. Historical bricks from different places all over the state will be used in the build.
