Maine GOP convention focuses on gun and parental rights, borders [Video]

The Maine State Republican Convention is underway at the Augusta Civic Center.The convention started Friday morning and Friday’s agenda includes county caucuses as well as speeches from party leaders. The convention wraps up on Friday evening.Much of the focus is on the party platform, and delegates to the convention said Friday the party is focusing on expanding gun rights, parental rights, especially over public education, and border control heading into the 2024 election season.The party is also hoping to gain more traction among women in 2024.
