Zach Bryan looked across the arena floor as spotlights and string lights illuminated the inside the CHI Health Center Monday night.
“It means a lot for me to be back,” Bryan said, who told the crowd he had lived in Omaha for two years.
On Sunday, the 28-year-old country music singer and members of his team joined in the cleanup effort in the Elkhorn area affected by Friday’s tornadoes.
“Me and the guys saw the damage from the tornadoes,” Bryan said. “We just want to say we are with you and we are so, so sorry… and our prayers are for you guys.”
Bryan said he wrote ‘God Speed’ ten years ago when he was living in Omaha.
