Huntsville hosts 42nd Annual Panoply Arts Festival [Video]

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — Time to move to the beat of the drum, or in this case, the drum and the paintbrush for Arts Huntsville’s 42nd Annual Panoply Arts Festival held downtown at Big Spring Park April 26 – 28.

Panoply volunteer Christopher Robinson, in charge of The Big Swim art experience, shares more about his station. “It is a tunnel that is about 20 feet long and it’s painted. It’s got painted fish on the side that represent the koi that are in the Big Spring pond over there. It’s got all these bubbles that reflect the sun refracting these beautiful colors onto the ground and onto the fish. And it’s meant to design an immersive experience for the kids walking through the tunnel. They can be one of the fish in the pond.”
