Grand Haven public schools names new superintendent [Video]

GRAND HAVEN, MI — Kristin Perkowski, the associate superintendent of curriculum and instruction at Traverse City Area Public Schools, has been selected as the next superintendent of Grand Haven Area Public Schools.

Perkowski, who has worked as an administrator, principal and teacher at several districts throughout the state, was chosen over two other finalists — Jason Reinecke, assistant superintendent of human services at Grand Haven Area Public Schools; and Scott Smith, superintendent of Cedar Springs Public Schools.
