It’s official, Gavin and Stacey is returning for one last special, and we could not be more excited.
Rumours have been swirling for months that the beloved sitcom would be back on our screens, but after months of denying the news, creators James Corden and Ruth Jones have dropped a huge announcement.
On Friday, comedian James, 45, teased a picture of him and Ruth peeking over a script stating: Gavin and Stacey: the finale.
It’s confirmed to be hitting our screens this year, and fans are ecstatic.
He wrote: ‘Some news… It’s official!!! We have finished writing the last ever episode of Gavin and Stacey. See you on Christmas Day, BBC One. Love Ruth and James.’
