LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A Clarksville High School teacher resigned after allegations of misconduct were reported to the district, local police and the Department of Child Services.
In a letter sent to parents Tuesday, Clarksville Community Schools Superintendent Dr. Tina Bennett said “the staff member in question was removed from the building and is no longer employed by the district.”
The district later confirmed to WDRB News the staff member was a teacher, and that he resigned.
“We want to assure you that the safety of our students remains our number one priority, and as a school district we do not condone any form of inappropriate behavior,” Bennett wrote. “In addition, we encourage open communication between parents, students, and staff.”
