Volkswagen has had 40 years of operating history in China and has been consistently investing in the Chinese market in recent years. At Auto China 2024, Volkswagen unveiled its new concept car, designed with “Chinese DNA.”
“China is Volkswagen’s largest single market and a second home,” Thomas Schäfer, CEO of Volkswagen Passenger Cars Brand, told CGTN’s Li Mengyuan, adding that “we will steadfastly work with our partners in China to jointly create a sustainable future.”
