2 Omaha restaurants teaming up for Cinco de Mayo event [Video]

Kinaara, an Indian restaurant at 120 Regency Parkway, is partnering with Corner Kitchen on an unusual Cinco de Mayo event on May 5.

Starting at 11 a.m. a special menu at Kinaara will offer dishes that fuse Indian, Korean and Mexican cooking.

Corner Kitchen, 4218 S. 50th St., says on Facebook that its mission is to serve Mexican street food with global influences.

The menu, available until 5 p.m., will feature such items as butter chicken tacos, Korean pork tacos, Tandoori chicken with a cilantro chutney and more. Vegan taco varieties will include brussels sprouts, oyster mushrooms and jackfruit.

No reservations are necessary.
